I want to thank all of ARU staff and especially Christa. My husband and I felt scared in our difficult time during his stay. We were beside ourselves, worrying about his symptoms and care needs and not knowing what was happening. Christa showed how much she cared by always talking to my husband and me to let us know what was happening, answering my questions, and making us feel heard. With so many different doctors seeing him and so many questions, we were relieved when Christa would step in to coordinate all of the services and seek answers. She would come by to check on "J," especially when I was not around, to make sure he was okay. He is home now and doing much better as he continues to follow up with his doctors. Thank you to everyone who made this possible, and thank you, Christa, for caring so much.
