Five weeks ago today, I broke my hip and femur. Within this period, I have gotten to know and love Elena. Elena not only has outstanding RN abilities to ascertain problems, answer concerns, and give information regarding issues from the surgery; but she demonstrates genuine care and love that goes beyond the requirements of the job. Throughout the past five weeks, I could not have had better care. Elena was so knowledgeable about the human body. Elena studied my file and knew exactly what had been broken. Elena knew the ramifications of this break to my whole body and mind. She did not come into our home with a know-it-all attitude, but with compassion and a willingness to help as the needs arose.
