My father is in the ED in South Sacramento. Cathreen has gone above and beyond providing excellent care, and I truly mean the word "care". My father has just spent 4-1/2 months in an Acute hospital (here and Vibra) and another 1-1/2 months in rehab; he has only been home 2 days and was terrified coming back to the hospital. He has some sort of internal bleeding and is severely constipated. Cathreen has made him comfortable to the point he hopes they leave him in the ED instead of moving him to a room (he's being admitted). She has a consistent ease about her; whether she's doing his IV or giving him an enema she did so with top-notch service and care. His comfort has been her priority. When he said his tailbone hurts, she immediately got him a "waffle mattress". She gives exemplary service, is very responsive, and anticipates her patient's needs. I wish I could explain everything she has done in the last 8 hours or so. All I can say is others likely strive to be like her. She is nothing short of amazing.
