From the minute we made eye contact with this young lady I knew she was special. She not only cared about my husband in a very kind and gentle way, but she also cared about me and my daughter. She knew what we needed and worked with us on visitation so we could be with him as much as possible. She not only cared for him in a compassionate, kind, and special way but cared for us. Every time she did something for him, she tried to explain so we would understand what it was to help him. I don’t think she hardly took a break herself but did encourage us to eat and keep our strength up. She worked over on one of her shifts and came in on her day off; that was the type of nurse she was. She even hugged and cried with us when she had to tell us he had passed. She told me she loved her job and it truly showed. She was our angel helping us through a very horrifying experience and I thank God for her and thank her for making such a difference.
