Mrs. Talavera went out of her way to ensure my experience was extraordinary! She came to my same-day pre-op room to introduce herself and explain what to expect once I entered the anesthesia pre-op area. She explained what a block treatment was and advised me on the questions I had about it. Once in the area to receive anesthesia, Mrs. Talavera continuously checked on me to ensure I was comfortable and my needs were met. She promised she would have my glasses ready for me when I woke up (which I greatly appreciate because my eyesight is so horrible).

During my procedure, Mrs. Talavera called my husband multiple times to keep him updated on the procedure itself and how I was doing prior to and during recovery. These multiple calls put my husband at ease and he felt very informed about what was happening throughout the procedure. She continued to monitor and check on me and my needs following my procedure.

We could not be more impressed and pleased with the amazing care provided by Mrs. Talavera! Her professionalism, compassion, and kindness are greatly appreciated and are the epitome of what all nurses should be. Mrs. Talavera's care was exemplary and we feel she is very deserving of this award!
