She puts in countless hours for her patients. She listens intently so that every patient feels heard and has a voice in their health care.
Angela has dedicated her life to serving others. Her love for serving others started in high school where she shadowed the nurse daily and when she first became CPR certified. Once she graduated she pursued a career where she would begin as an EMT and continue her education to receive her paramedic certification, Associate Degree in EMS, and then her Associate of Nursing in order to serve others. With each role, she wanted to do more and impact more lives.
In her bio at Baptist, she talks about God’s plan for her life and it involved bringing healthcare to her small community. This was prior to Baptist opening the clinic but that didn’t stop her. She had faith and trusted Him. She pressed on to get her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and then pursued her Master’s with Family Practice focus. By the time she graduated, Baptist had opened the clinic that served a community that for years had no provider to care for them.
Angela has been with Baptist since December 2016. Angela also serves in various roles at The Ark of Praise helping those who are hurting and lost. She supports The Father’s House which serves those suffering from addictions. Angela is involved in the communities and promotes awareness through speaking at the school community center and other events on topics such as mental wellness suicide prevention addition COVID Immunizations, heart disease, and other important topics. She puts in countless hours for her patients. She listens intently so that every patient feels heard and has a voice in their health care. She is big on education and feels the key to one’s health is knowledge and knowledge is power. She treats every patient like family and makes herself available to them. This is a rarity. Angela continues to improve herself so that she can have a positive impact in her community and patients' lives. She is currently enrolled at Liberty University and set to graduate this next year.
She has made it her life’s purpose to serve and give especially to those who live in underserved and rural areas. This is just a piece of who she is. She has done all this while also being a wife and mother to six beautiful children and her daughter-in-law. There is nothing more important to her than her family. This includes her work family and patients whom she considers family as well. Angela Suttle has devoted thirty years of her life to serving others sacrificially and her life’s work demonstrates the compassionate care and love she has for others. She is humble in all the things she does and would never want recognition; that is just who she is. She has truly devoted her whole life to this cause and is deserving of this award and accolades.
