Kristy was one of the (many) people in the OR yesterday for my procedure. I was nervous and pretty upset going in but Kristy immediately calmed me down by just talking to me and helping get me settled in a matter-of-fact but still very calming compassionate way. She got me to talk about other normal everyday things and this helped distract me from all that was going on. She held my hand right up until the anesthesia kicked in. I’m very thankful that Kristy was part of my care team yesterday.
