My father was brought in by ambulance two days in a row to LV Muhlenberg. The first day was a nightmare but this second day was worse. Unexpectedly, he passed away in the hospital after being brought back from a CAT scan- only 1 hr and 26 min of being brought into the ER. It was worse because he passed, but we were blessed by Joe Cassidy and the doctor. Joe was there with her helping hand and amazing care for my father. She took the time for me … as I was alone since he was fine, and I didn’t feel my sister had to leave work at that time. She stood by me as they pronounced him, and was truly an Angel. Concerned, professional, and caring… The true definition of what I knew a nurse to be. May God Bless her for the wonderful job that she does… as she so blessed me in my father's final minutes. May she never question if she has chosen the right profession. She certainly has in my eyes.
