Jordan goes out of her way every day to make sure our cancer research patients receive the compassion and excellent care that makes a difference in their cancer journey. Research is more challenging and scarier in many ways than routine care and going onto a research trial can be a journey that involves many departments and cross teams, Jordan works with the patients and units to make sure the patient’s journey is safe and amazing. She will take calls after hours and on the weekends when questions arise from the patient or caregivers and will work with the research coordinators to make sure the care is an experience the patient remembers with compassion.

When we are short-staffed Jordan is always the first to volunteer to support the team and our caregivers and patients. Her journey from the treatment center to research has allowed her to bring all the values and energy the treatment center shows and add her unique character and charm to the research journey our patients travel. I have worked with the SCI research team for over 7 years before the ITU was built and Jordan is an amazing addition to our group, not a day goes by without someone from our department, another department, or a patient being grateful that she is part of their journey.
