My husband was admitted to WMC after he had been discharged from another hospital that morning. He stepped from our car and broke his hip. Leslie was his nurse upon admission. She was very caring and compassionate. She knew that he was hurting and in a lot of distress. She got him something to eat and drink because food service was already closed. She knew we were both stressed because in the 2 weeks before his fall he had 3 procedures. She is an angel that God put in the hospital to help patients and families. She came in often to see if there was anything she could do for either of us. I was beyond stressed. She has a heart for her role as a nurse. No one could have been more comforting and caring than she was. We have been blessed to have Leslie as our nurse. She was concerned with all aspects of his care. At meal time she encouraged him to eat and drink plenty of fluids. She was number 1!!  He has a problem with low blood pressure. She made sure it was checked often. We have had a lot of nurses in the last 6 months, but NONE were better than Leslie. Thank you!
