This award was made for nurses like her. She was able to keep me calm through all the ups and downs.
A few weeks ago I was sent to the hospital unexpectedly to be induced this was my first ever pregnancy and I was a few days over 37 weeks. When we got all checked in, Brittney came to get us and was so welcoming, caring, and informative. Brittney went above and beyond for us and made us feel as at home as she possibly could. Brittney did a wonderful job explaining everything to us and keeping me calm. She continued to check on us and help us with whatever we needed. She never left my side and felt like a friend who was there to get me through it all. I had a rough labor towards the end which ended in a C-section but Brittney still continued to check on us and help us with whatever we needed.

This award was made for nurses like her. She was able to keep me calm through all the ups and downs. She continued to stick by my side while I tried to push and listened and addressed every single concern I had. She was very compassionate and just a wonderful nurse. She’s the best nurse I’ve ever encountered.

***

I can’t thank her enough for making my experience as stress-free and easy as she possibly could. The world needs more nurses like her. I came in to be triaged the week before I actually went into labor, a week later I was sent from my OB office to the OB ER and I got admitted to be induced. I was very nervous that I wouldn’t be able to get through delivering as this is my first baby. As soon as I was rolled into the room I’d later deliver on and Brittney introduced herself, I knew everything would be okay. She was so compassionate and helped me through every second of my labor and delivery.

I just wanted to say I’m so sorry because I know I squeezed the crap out of her while contracting and I most likely bruised her so I’m very sorry!! But yes, Brittney was absolutely amazing and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better to support me through that experience. She is more than deserving of an award for the kindness and love that all nurses should show.
