Robin always had a beautiful smile and ask often if there was anything we needed.
My mother-in-law who was 85 had a stroke and was sent to the ICU. Robin was her nurse for several days. We never had a bad experience with any nurses but Robin went above and beyond to make my mother-in-law and the family feel more than just a patient. It was a scary roller coaster experience. From needing to make choices about removing the vent to needing a trach and feeding tube. Robin was always rubbing and talking to her and trying anything she knew to comfort her also kept a very close eye on her blood pressure as it would jump up often. Robin always had a beautiful smile and ask often if there was anything we needed.

In one conversation Robin told us that she worked for an attorney and did well but she felt she wanted to give back so she became a nurse. She was God-sent to my family and we told her she is definitely giving back and other nurses have good things to say about her. When my mother-in-law was sent to the step-down unit she checked on us. I really can’t say or put into words how we feel about her making our experience a little easier. Thank you all for making a difference in the world!
