Valerie was kind and understanding regarding my mother's limitations. My mom had a head injury, is deaf, and was experiencing nausea and discomfort with a failing liver. Her pain and nausea medications kept vanishing from the system and had to be reordered repeatedly. Valerie fought like a champion to get my mom the medicine she needed. She made sure my mom was comfortable in every way and even microwaved a bowl of soup for me so I could eat. We have had many nurses throughout the years, but Valerie stands out above them all in every way. Her gentle manner and attention to detail from the moment we met were wonderful. We felt so safe having her as our nurse, and being safe is not something my mother feels very often.
