I actually felt as if I was cared for not as if I were in a hospital, but at a friend's home. My nurse Danielle took the time and patience to be human and talk with me and make me feel as if I was the most important person in the hospital. Having to stay multiple days in the hospital can be stressful and can stir up feelings of anxiety. My nurse relieved these fears and concerns by showing true compassion. She asked me about my feelings and took leadership and accountability to make my stay joyful. It may be wrong to say, but I enjoyed my stay in the hospital. If all nurses were as patient and kind and compassionate as Danielle, hospitals would qualify as a resort. Thank you Danielle for making my stay enjoyable. Your humanity and kindness make you an amazing nurse and this hospital is truly blessed to have you as a member of its staff. Please know our family thanks you.
