When we met Lindsay, we had been in the ICU for a short time. The nurses were doing what they do best, which is taking care of their patients. I noticed Lindsay moving around the area outside of my husband’s room. Later during the day, my husband asked me for some water and I said to my husband “I can’t give you any water but we can call for a nurse to see what she has to say.” Shortly after that, he pushed the button on the bed and his nurse and Lindsay showed up. Lindsay was moving toward him when she saw what was happening and the next thing I saw was Lindsay performing CPR on him. I knew then that God had sent her to us for such a time as this. We want to thank her for being a blessing in our lives. We want her to know she is a true angel and we are grateful to her more than words can express. Few people possess this considerate and unselfish, loving heart. Thank you for your kindness. You are an amazing person to us. Lindsay, we thank God for using you in your quick actions that gave us a second chance at life.
