Sam immediately put my mind at ease, tried to comfort me, and explained to me that I would be okay.
Upon my arrival at San Antonio Hospital, my encounter with the nursing staff was welcomed with compassion, respect, and integrity. So far all the nurses have gone above and beyond their call of duty. One nurse especially stuck out, her name is nurse Sam Smith RN.
On my first day encounter, Sam immediately put my mind at ease, tried to comfort me, and explained to me that I would be okay. I have had numerous visits to various hospitals and yes, I have received maximum care, but as I stated previously this one nurse went out of her way on numerous occasions to reemphasize to me that I was going to be ok. Just that care and consideration from one human being to another human being is quite amazing and has really motivated me. It had a positive impact on my mindset and emotionally puts me at ease in my recovery. My family has even seen the positive attitude that I have due to the positive things that nurse Sam has passed on to me.
I am very fortunate to have such a great, positive and compassionate nurse to get me through this tough medical situation that I am currently in. I hope that other nurses are able to work along with such a compassionate nurse because it is very important to me in my recovery. She is a true angel from God. God bless and thank you.
