For me personally, Ashley has been someone I have felt comfortable coming to when I need a dose of hope and sunshine.
Ashley has always been a great team leader who is compassionate and inspiring. I have seen many of our staff go to Ashley with concerns, some that are personal and some that are professional, and each one expressed leaving with care and a feeling of hope. For me personally, Ashley has been someone I have felt comfortable coming to when I need a dose of hope and sunshine.

Recently, I have had some family issues which have made my childcare harder and scheduling needs different. Ashley responded with such compassion and helped me find a way that I was able to still do the job that I love and be there for my family. I am forever grateful for Ashley. Ashley has been an advocate and supporter of the services we (the lactation team) provide for St. Mary's. As we have worked towards providing donor human milk for term infants that need supplementation, Ashley has been a resource and has helped us with navigating and setting up the process, making sure we have all of the things we need to be successful.

Ashley is the best nurse manager I have ever had! She is so kind and always willing to listen to any concern any of us on the unit have, no matter how busy she is. She cares for our patients and us (her staff) as if we are her own family members. If an issue arises with a patient, Ashley steps in without a second thought and handles it with professionalism and compassion, and does everything she can to reach the best resolution for all involved. We are so lucky to have her!

Our beloved Ashlita! Words don't do her justice. She got handed a unit desperately in need of direction that had seen two different managers in the last two years. Her leadership is unmatched, and she is truly the most caring person you will ever meet. She is an incredible listener- even if she can't fix the issue she is always empathetic. She is always working to help us improve relationships with other units, within our unit, and with each other. She is committed to making us an incredible team and is always open to changing what isn't working and working towards finding a better solution for everyone. She is always jumping in to help with patient care and is always involved in our unit making sure that we are doing ok. We truly feel so lucky to have her as a manager!
