My first child’s birth was very long, and I was nervous about my second one. Liz was assigned as my nurse shortly after I was out of triage. The birth ended up moving along much faster than I expected. I was so grateful to have Liz as my nurse through the delivery. She remained calm, reassuring, and positive. Her demeanor helped me through a difficult epidural placement. She was extremely organized and anticipated each step that needed to be taken. The delivery was successful, and my baby was born without complications, and we wanted to thank Liz for being a part of that! Liz embodies all things that make a great nurse: personable, confident, master of multitasking, smart and kind. We will always remember the role she played in bringing our baby into this world. She deserves a raise!
