Damon's solid bedside manner reflects a role-model standard of patient care. He calmly and patiently assisted my family with wound care teaching. I have heard the nursing profession has been suffering as of late; it is good to know practitioners like Damon from 2WW are alive and well to care for me and loved ones.

Damon has been on 2WW since graduating. He has been impressive from the start. I routinely receive high praise and compliments from patients and family members. He is incredibly compassionate, and empathetic and listens intently to patients’ needs and requests. He is the first to lend a hand to co-workers and can be seen at times sitting at the bedside holding the hand of a frightened patient ages 20 to 100.
Finally, Damon has been instrumental in leading the charge to reduce 2WW CLABSI rates serving as unit champion. He and his co-worker took their own time to put together a video tutorial for staff to perform proper Central Line dressing changes. Damon's efforts have helped our unit reduce CLABSI rates to zero for almost 18 months.
