This is my first time in the hospital ever - for a total knee replacement. I want to make a shout-out to Elizabeth Dusek, RN. Right from the beginning after the day nurse gave her a summary of what was going on, she immediately went into action to get me comfortable, moved the sheets around so as not to get bedsores and she basically educated me on every single little thing she was doing and what to expect with recovery, medication, etc. When I needed something, she was immediately in my room helping me. Elizabeth’s sincerity, care, direction, education, answering questions, etc. made a HUGE difference. I am saying she is top notch and you have a gem of a nurse. She had a sense of urgency in everything she did. I felt a huge sense of relief in her care. Also, she was GREAT with guiding and teaching new staff. I just cannot say enough about her and the care she gave me! Thank you, Elizabeth!
