Becky stood out to me within 5 minutes of meeting her. She thoroughly discussed a very complicated patient, with us as his family and with him. She took an hour of her time to ensure that my father fully understood all of the risks, and the chances, and helped us to honor his wishes while helping him to effectively communicate them. She took time with each of his daughters, on the phone and in person when she didn’t have that time to give in a very busy unit.

She took time to assure my daughter and even to help with guidance as she wants to go into nursing. She thoroughly read my dad's chart and had a full and clear picture of all of his prior issues, and all of the current complications, and she has been amazing with him. He is not a model patient and can be cranky, even when feeling well. But when he isn’t feeling well, he can be difficult.

Becky redirected and assisted in helping to push him when needed, comfort him when needed, and I considered her one of the most extraordinary nurses I have come across in any state I’ve lived in or had family in the hospital in, etc. I truly feel she took care of not only my dad but my family as well. Truly, above and beyond just performing her duties. I’m so grateful!
