I met Jane at a biologics appointment, to discuss starting a new biologic medication for my condition. For over a month I’d been struggling with little voice and problems with my chest post-Covid. Jayne has been phenomenal! She has fought on my behalf (without the biologics and everything else going on I’d lost the energy to fight). She would not rest until my GP had taken action and we’d seen sufficient improvements in my blood tests to finally be able to give the go-ahead to begin the new biologics (5 months after I should have started). Jane is simply astounding, her level of care and compassion is beyond words, and cannot thank or praise her enough for not only supporting and keeping me going but fighting when I didn’t have the energy. She is the most selfless person I have ever met and an amazing and caring and empathetic nurse. Jane is a true credit to the team and I truly cannot think of anyone more deserving of recognition than her. In a world (and time) where the pressures are immense on the NHS and its staff, she manages to make you feel like you are the only person she is dealing with and will do anything she can to support her patients. I hope this is sufficient for you to appreciate just how outstanding she is.
