Cheriza demonstrated her communication style with my mother, and as she did so, my mother couldn't help but smile and seem so happy and contented.
My 63-year-old mother was sent to the hospital because she was disoriented and had many seizures. We appreciate Cheriza, who helped us throughout our visit to the hospital at the time and was on duty. My mother was nonverbal, making it very challenging to understand her needs. Even though my mother is not answering, Cheriza takes her time speaking to her and holds her hands while doing so. She instructed my mother to squeeze her hand to indicate whether she wanted water or was ready to take medicine.

Along with that, she gave me a list of pills, saying she wanted to verify them with me before giving them to my mother since my mother wouldn't be able to do so. She treats my mother with dignity and respect and as a member of the family rather than simply another patient in the hospital, which makes us all very glad to have her as our mother's nurse. She treats her work with compassion. She kept us up to date on the treatment she was giving, and the measures needed for recovery. She made us feel less stressed and anxious by keeping a pleasant attitude.

The next day when we visited my mom, we are amazed to notice that she can mumble words and is even listening to music. Cheriza demonstrated her communication style with my mother, and as she did so, my mother couldn't help but smile and seem so happy and contented. Cheriza updated me on her status, gave her a bed bath, applied medicine to her wound, and even taught my family members how to care for my mother's tracheostomy and peg tube. She consistently displayed the qualities that make a great nurse. She goes above and beyond to help the patient and their family. She took the time to hear our worries and questions, which put us all at ease.

Cheriza is very hardworking, compassionate, attentive, and knowledgeable. We admire her professionalism and bedside manner. Despite the fact that my mother is unable to communicate, I know she is so grateful to have a nurse like Cheriza who has provided her with excellent care.
