We feel so fortunate to have had Tiffany as our nurse, without her support this experience would have been much more difficult.  She consistently went above and beyond the call of duty, always greeting us with a kind smile.   She shows compassion and clearly cares for her patients more than her paycheck.   She treated us like family but was also professional – always on top of the meds and making sure we were ok.   We can’t visualize anyone doing more than she did.  Some specific examples – Tiffany was the only one that was able to fix the PICC line out of the seven people in two hospitals that tried.   She also tracked down housekeeping and went through the trash to find the vomit bag and make sure the pill didn’t come back up. Who does that? Tiffany, that’s who!   She took us on walks to the Healing Garden and was genuine, dear, and sincere in all of her communications with us.  She is a great listener, very respectful, and was a light in what could have been a very dark time.  We hope that St. Mary’s recognizer her as a valuable asset to the hospital and the patients/families she cares for because we sure do.
