Jennifer was my wife's nurse when she was admitted to the ICU from the ER and she was with us for about 12 hours or a little more and she just worked so tirelessly on my wife. My wife was just so sick at the time and I know it's Jennifer's job to take care of her patient but I feel like she just went above and beyond with her care for my wife as well as me and my mother-in-law. She kept us informed every step of the way and let us know what she was doing and why. When my wife started to take a turn for the worst she was right there making sure we were prepared for it and not surprised by what was happening. After my wife passed away she was there to offer comfort and allowed us as much time with her as we needed. Jennifer answered all of our questions, some multiple times, and in the worst moments of our lives she was there with hugs and her kind words and it just made that night/early morning a little less painful even though that doesn't seem like it could be. Having the staff that we did, I feel, made every bit of a difference. It just stinks that we met under these circumstances.
