I found out at my OB office that my daughter had passed away. I was sent home to pack my things and head into Winchester to be induced. The walk into the hospital was one of the scariest of my life. On top of the immense grief and shock, I was faced with the uncertainty and unknown of going into labor with my first child. Stef took over my care for the following day. She gave us our time with her, helped coordinate our family visits, and cared for both us and our daughter with such compassion. While there were tragic and beautiful moments during our hospital stay, our compassionate and extraordinary nursing care was constant throughout our stay.
