And while the brief moment was worrisome and scary, we all felt calm in the room because of the way Bethany handled it all.
We arrived at Dupont Hospital to be induced for our first baby on a Wednesday evening. Neither of us had many expectations or ideas of how anything would go other than being told we would likely have our baby arrive 24 hours after being induced. While all of our nurses were great, Bethany really stuck out and made a world of difference to us!

While trying multiple methods of induction over 50-plus hours, there were a few instances where we both would have panicked if it weren’t for Bethany and her reassurance. At one point our little boy's heart rate dropped drastically and within seconds Bethany had nurses and a doctor in the room helping and prepping for anything that needed to happen. They were able to quickly readjust my position and get the baby stable again. After everything was back to normal, she stated “If I’m sweating, you wouldn't be but I was definitely sweating there for a second.” And while the brief moment was worrisome and scary, we all felt calm in the room because of the way Bethany handled it all. When she was leaving for the night, we would finally be heading in for a C-section, she made us both feel prepared and ready for what was next.

One little one had to spend time in the NICU, so we were at the hospital much longer than expected. We walked down to Labor & Delivery days after being there to see if Bethany was working so that we could thank her for everything. She instantly remembered us and asked how baby B was doing! We were able to show her photos and thank her for everything once again. The hug she gave filled my heart fully. I have never had such a great medical stay with such caring staff. Bethany truly impacted our expectations and understanding of all things to come with future deliveries. We can not talk more highly of her.
