We had the most professional and productive encounter at the Hampton VA Medical Center with RN June Noel. RN Noel was professional and committed to ensuring that our visit was thorough and productive by addressing some major concerns that we had regarding available services and programs that would be beneficial to my husband’s health. We were greeted respectfully and always addressed by our names.

Before this wonderful encounter with RN Noel, we were on a scary and uncertain journey. My husband was recently diagnosed with Dementia, and we were trying to navigate and adjust our lives as best as we could. Nurse Noel committed herself to ensuring that our journey would be as seamless and dignified as possible by pulling on her resources and sharing all the information she could obtain on the various programs and services that would best suit our needs.

RN Noel’s advocacy for the Veterans is displayed in her disposition, by always being caring, pleasant, and professional. She is committed to providing each Veteran with the highest quality of care by interacting with not only the Veteran, but also the Veteran’s caregiver. We arrived at the Hampton VA Medical Center feeling overwhelmed, burdened, and stressed. However, we left feeling that we were not only heard but seen.
