My daughter has cerebral palsy along with other severe medical conditions. Melissa has been our Nurse on several occasions during our many stays. Each time Melissa has gone above and beyond the call duty. She has even gone as far as holding and comforting my daughter during violent vomiting and seizure episodes. Melissa also does an outstanding job of communicating with me and my wife on procedures we may not quite fully understand. I could go on and on about how wonderful of a nurse she is, but I would I think I'd run out of room. She is a true blessing, and I am absolutely proud and honored to recognize Melissa Vasquez as a DAISY Nurse.

Melissa is knowledgeable, kind, and compassionate. Her attention to detail is phenomenal. She took great care of my child. She has such a positive attitude. Her presence gave my family peace of mind knowing she was on duty. She truly is doing God's work.
