My mom was a patient for several days and we had the honor of having Nicole as my mom’s nurse 2 or 3 times. This was already an extremely difficult time for myself and my family but she was our light during the darkest of times. It was an answered prayer when Nicole was the nurse on duty the day we took my mom off life support. She was by my mom’s side when they took my mom off life support and that gave me comfort knowing that somebody so caring was right there. She is somebody my family will talk about forever.

Somebody who held our hand and walked us through the darkest of times. I cannot tell you how special she is and how much it meant that God put her in our lives as the nurse for my mom for 3 shifts and especially the day life support was turned off. She is an example of what a nurse should be and should absolutely be recognized and honored. Again, I cannot thank her enough for the kindness, patience, and love she showed us during this time. My mom passed on a Friday and I know she would have wanted to honor Nicole as well.
