Drenda is such a blessing to her patients and peers. She pours so much of herself into each and every patient, and she often times works well past the end of her shift to make sure she does not leave loose ends. Drenda was scheduled to get off work on Friday night at 0100 hours. IUPUI Police Department brought in a COH patient at 0045 hours, and there was no one scheduled to follow Drenda. Rather than leaving the patient to be transferred to another facility for her exam, Drenda stayed over after her shift without ever hesitating. She was able to provide the patient with the care that she needed in a timely manner. Her actions that night also allowed the police officers from IMPD and IUPD to return to their assignments in a timely manner. Victim's Assistance commented on Drenda's bedside manner as they were walking out that night and wanted to share how appreciative she was to have Drenda helping the patient. Drenda often puts the needs of everyone else first without hesitation. Eskenazi is a better place because of Drenda!
