An email was received from a patient about how her nurse, Heather Fest went above and beyond in her care. The patient was sick in August of 2021 and went into the emergency room at Parkview Whitley where she met Heather Fest, who became her ER nurse.

The patient stated that Heather went beyond basic nursing care and listened to her talk and convinced her a COVID test was needed, and it came back positive. Heather then came to her apartment later and checked on her and gave her some Tylenol for a headache. The next day Heather called to check on the patient and she could barely hear her, so she called an ambulance. The patient ended up being admitted to the hospital for two weeks. Heather's kindness did not stop there, she kept the patient's dog and took care of him the whole time she was admitted. This patient described Heather as her Angel and you can see that Heather was this patient's Guardian Angel in numerous ways.
