Earlier this month, we found ourselves with a brand-new terminal diagnosis for my mom. Ross assumed care of my mom on Thursday, and immediately my mother, as well as myself and family, felt immediately comforted by him. He had such a proactive attitude about keeping my mom comfortable in relation to her pain and nausea. He was so personable and understanding and really delivered exceptional compassionate nursing care. My mom passed away on Friday, and Ross delivered the same exceptional compassionate care to her as she took her last breaths. Even though she passed, it gave us such comfort to know that she was so well taken care of (he took care of us too). We were wowed and overwhelmed by his nursing knowledge, compassion, and care. I have been a nurse for 25 years and have rarely encountered such an exceptional caregiver. When we think back to the whirlwind 5 days we had with my mom from her diagnosis to her death, Ross is a shining star from that week. Ross will touch many lives – both patients and families.
