Barbara Cadamuro, RN rushed down the corridor into my husband's room who was recovering from a TBI, and the attendants did not know what to do as my husband looked as though he was having a cardiac arrest. Barbara immediately took charge and explained what happened. His BP dropped as he was having a bowel movement. Nurse Barbara explained the situation to all of the attendants in the room and then asked for a chair for me as I was about to pass out. Barbara explained that it was a vasovagal syncope and directed the attendants to clean him and get him in bed to sleep. Apparently, it was the first time the attendants learned the procedure due to our "Angel of Mercy" as we believe all nurses are Angels of Mercy. She is my family's HERO! She acted in such a professional manner with such knowledge, and caring and displayed concern for her patients and families in such a loving capacity - She is our Angel of Mercy! Riverview should be proud of Barbara!
