Candice went above and beyond with every task she completed on my elderly mother. My mother was in a lot of pain, and very upset. Candice assured her the entire time that they would find out what was going on and help her get through it. She was very, very patient with my mother’s dislike of having the IV inserted, and throughout the stay, Candice was very calming to my mother and talked with a very calming charm. Candice went out of her way to make her not feel bad about the numerous times she thought she had to go to the bathroom and could not. When the clock struck midnight, my mom turned 83 – Candice came in with a makeshift birthday cake made from a paper plate and multiple snack-size candy bars and wished mom a Happy Birthday!! Little did she know my mom has a super sweet tooth and enjoyed it more than Candice could know! Candice had many patients that night but made mom feel like she was the only one.
