One of Lizzie’s patients had left the hospital and forgotten their medications. The patient had called the unit asking if there was anything we could do to get her forgotten meds. Lizzie immediately offered to drop her medications at the local hotel the patient was staying at before the patient had to leave town. Lizzie doesn't hesitate to help anyone in need. She understands that those little things, make such a big impact on our patients. We have seen her grow in her career as she started here as a new grad nurse and has completed her second year here at UCHealth.
