I had surgery for the 3rd time this year and with all the rough things going on with me this year, I would like to make sure that my nurse during this surgery is given due recognition and appreciation. I was anxious and scared with all the things going on with me. Dante, my nurse, made me feel so comfortable and special. I felt so secure and at ease, the moment he talked to me, introduced himself, gave me an overview of how things go in the operating room, and made sure that my wife was well updated too. He is knowledgeable and eased my doubts and clarifications with a good sense of humor too which eases the tension and anxiety I was feeling. He made sure he was there beside me before I was out and he was there too when I woke up in the recovery talking and ensuring me that I am ok which made me feel so secure. I and my wife felt so special and cared for having a nurse so calming and professional as Dante. I would like to thank everyone in the hospital for making a smooth experience to this surgery, from admissions to discharge. I am thankful to the Cheyenne Regional Surgery department --- "a good job everyone!" Dante is highly recommended!
