Hannah has done an exceptional job in difficult circumstances.
Hannah is the Lead Nurse for your Pathway Homeless Person's Team. This is a Band 7 role, and the first Band 7 role she has taken. The team supports people experiencing homelessness and other inclusion health groups in the hospital, and also in the 6 bedded step-down in the community. It is an integrated team with staff members from ELFT, Hackney Council and Providence Row. Hannah has done an exceptional job in difficult circumstances. She often anonymously discusses clinical cases with me to check she has done all she can - but she always has. She has a firm grip on governance issues, clinical safety, and legislative frameworks, and her concerns and the challenges she makes in meetings are always valid and accurate. She cares about her staff enormously and seeks to support them as much as possible. At one point she spent all her evenings in one week crunching data for a report, and I don't believe she has ever had her time back. She comes to national meetings, and always contributes in a very thoughtful and useful way. She speaks sensitively about the patients, and we have been very pleased to have her in the Pathway wider family. Hannah has had a few health challenges recently, but I just want her to know that we (Myself, her Pathway colleagues, and the team) all notice how good she is, and want her to feel appreciated!
