Brittney is an exceptional nurse. On multiple occasions, I have had her managers rave about how much of a pleasure it is to work with her, and the exceptional care she gives her patients. She sent me a patient compliment, that is just one of many that she has received. Nurse managers have said that she is a true team player, and treats everyone on the unit like family! To quote one manager, "She is a gem of a nurse" Brittney worked as a travel nurse throughout the height of the pandemic in different hospitals in NY. I love working with nurses like Brittney, because she truly loves what she does, and gives her patients the best care. If I or a family member are ever in the hospital, I'd hope we got a nurse just like Brittney! She is more than deserving to be recognized for the hard work and compassion she brings to her job.

The patient that took the time to write out the compliment card below is a cancer patient. They were admitted due to having surgery, and had to be monitored and on antibiotics for a couple of days. The couple was nervous, and of course, had concerns. Brittney took the time to answer all of their questions, and if she didn't have the answer, she reached out to others to obtain the answer for the patient and their spouse. Brittney took the time to be compassionate and showed that she truly cared, during a very scary time for that couple. And sometimes, that can really mean the world to a patient!
