She is unmatched in her work ethic and compassion. No matter how stressful the work or the day, Ann has a calming, positive presence and patience that I envy.
Ann has been a valued member of the Resource Team for more than 15 of her 37-year tenure at UWMC. She fulfills multiple roles on our team including Charge RN, Transport, NICU, and MBU. She has a vast amount of clinical knowledge and is a go-to source of information for our staff. Whenever I get the chance to work with Ann on a unit or in one of our boarding areas, I smile and breathe a sigh of relief knowing I will be working alongside such a hardworking, caring, and positive person. She greets everyone with a smile and begins each interaction, whether it be with staff, patients, or providers with positivity, respect, and a caring attitude.

I have known Ann for 23 years. She is a huge asset to the Resource team and to UWMC as a whole. She is an extremely helpful and dependable coworker, a strong charge and transport RN. While doing transport, Ann makes it a point to check in with the resource nurses and offer her help once or twice during her shift. She is an extraordinarily strong nurse and a great resource.

Ann is a wonderful human and nurse. She exudes a kind and calm confidence that puts everyone at ease, both patients and colleagues alike. She is exceptionally helpful and caring and is often sought out for her knowledge, skill, and insight as a nurse. I know if I am working with Ann, we are going to be all right no matter how crazy the shift may be!

Our PCT and Nurse Technicians specifically recognize Ann for always taking the extra time to share information and teach new skills. They appreciate her warm and welcoming demeanor when they get the chance to work alongside her. Ann is always willing to help a team member in need. Whenever she is Transport RN or Charge RN, she checks in with staff to make sure they have the help they need and get their breaks. She creates a positive and welcoming environment despite these stressful times. Ann is a tremendous resource to our team and brings a smile to whomever she interacts with. We are incredibly lucky she has chosen to be a member of our team!
