I have been an RN for just about 10 years now and in all my care I have not met a more caring and thorough nurse and educator. Linda always advocates for her patients and while doing so she educates and trains the ICU staff to do the same. As an educator, she is always bringing us up-to-date information on equipment used in the ICU, medication given in the ICU, and procedures done in the ICU. She is always available to all the staff at any time to answer questions and to help a fellow ICU RN, or a fellow RN for that matter, solve an issue with a patient. Her patient care is exceptional, and she treats her patients and families with compassion and grace. She is a nurse that leads by example, and I have seen her handle many a high-acuity patient with keen insight. She is an asset to Newton ICU.
