Holly Cuccia was the angel that was sent to us during my mother's time with PIH Health Hospice. The best way I could describe Holly is pure Love, Compassion, Understanding, Sympathetic, and Passionate for her role in the care of my mother. She would brighten my mother's day when she visited her, the relationship between Holly and my mother was amazing. At the end of my mother's journey, there were not many words spoken during the visits, but they could just look at each other and the connection was immediately apparent. My mother's nickname for Holly was "her Guerita." I strongly believe that Holly played a very important part in my mother's beautiful end of Life. Although I know that Holly would have loved to have been with my mother and the family on the day our Lord took her home, it wasn't to be. I know she was with us in heart. I will forever be so grateful to Holly for her unconditional love for my mother. I know that she has definitely earned her Wings.
