There was a patient on ITP West who stated that they had lost their purse containing their phone and wallet on admission. Kasia spent a considerable amount of her already busy day checking our facility and then making calls to find out where the patient had come from and if she had left her purse in the ED. Kasia located the patient's belongings in Chesapeake. She then drove to the ED and then back to RBHC, with the patient's permission, to collect and return this patient's items to them. This is just one example of the incredible kindness, compassion, and care that Kasia shows toward her patients. She frequently goes above and beyond with no desire for recognition, just a true heart and passion for assisting patients in need. We are incredibly lucky to have Kasia at RBHC.
