When you hear someone say, “Oh, she has an old soul,” that is how I would describe Paige. She has an “old nurse’s” soul. When you are working with her, you feel like you are working with a professional with at least 30 years of nursing experience. She is proactive in providing care to her patients. No job is too small or big whether it be walking her Covid patients or placing PICC lines, if that is what needs to be done, she does it for the best outcome for her patients. I have had the privilege of working with Paige on the Inpatient unit as well as in the Emergency Dept. She, without hesitation, helped a patient with life-threatening injuries from a motor vehicle accident. She knew the ER was busy that day. She came over and helped place lines and gave meds. She was an extra set of hands for the ER staff until the patient was able to be transferred to a facility for a higher level of care. Paige is truly an Extraordinary Nurse, and I am thankful for the opportunity to work with her!
