Colten introduced himself upon entering the room at shift change. From his introduction, all the way through the night until shift change he was consistently checking on my son, my ex-wife, and our entire family. His knowledge and bedside manner were absolutely unmatched, this gentleman did more for my anxiety than my medication could handle. He was extraordinarily warm, welcoming, and beyond friendly. Was able to answer every single question we asked in easy-to-understand words. He set all of our minds at ease and offered world-class care for our son. Please consider him for this honor, I’ve never met a nurse who is more deserving.

We had Colton in the Pediatric ICU on night shift and he was absolutely amazing. He took great care of my little boy. Above and beyond doesn't even describe him. Very kind and personable. Colton is an amazing human being!! He showed my son the most unconditional love. I was amazed by how sensitive he was with my son. My son was diagnosed with a rare disease & Colton always made him feel normal. Even when he didn't have him as a patient he would still come & check on him throughout the day. He has an amazing personality & loving attitude. He can brighten anyone's day. He made my husband and I feel like his family. He always made sure we were ok & taken care of. He was just a happy person and he made our stay here very welcoming. He went over and beyond for us. He gave us conversation anytime he came into the room. I feel like I've known him longer than 3 weeks. That's how compassionate he was about us and making us feel comfortable and loved. He will not be forgotten!
