On a busy Sunday afternoon in the ER, we were presented with a potential high-risk pregnant patient in active labor. Our team was quick to identify that we had limited experience with L&D (especially high-risk). I thought back on the last delivery I was a part of in the ER and how Natache Tolar was so experienced and good in that role, so I called her in hopes she would be able to help out. When I called, she was in the middle of grocery shopping, but didn’t hesitate to drop what she was doing to help out! She came to the hospital and jumped right into her L&D nurse role. She happily stayed until we were able to get the patient transferred out. The fact she dropped what she was doing on her weekend off to come to help the ER exemplifies what an outstanding team player she is. She displayed a true act of acting to serve others which impacted our patient and our staff in such a positive light. We are truly grateful to have Natache as part of our family at Baptist Booneville
