Angela is my infusion nurse. I have cancer and receive chemo every other week. I come to Angela to get unhooked. She is not only an exceptional nurse, but she is a true friend. She is always positive and makes a not fun situation so enjoyable. She is always attentive to my needs and advocates with my doctors at Teton Cancer Center if she feels that something would help me. She has been instrumental in helping to get me medications to help with nausea and recommending giving me fluids and a B-12 shot as she has noticed how dehydrated and worn down I get while on chemo.

Angela creates a positive and happy environment in the infusion room. My typical infusion room is rather drab and boring, but not with Angela. She creates a cheery environment that is welcoming and makes you feel comfortable. She is attentive to my every need while I am there. She will get warm blankets, drinks, or other items that I may need. She is always happy and is a delight to visit with. She helps access my port when I have scans and makes the process seem effortless. I have had some bad experiences with other people who have tried multiple times and left many marks. She has become a valued friend to me. She checks on me and is my biggest supporter in fighting this ugly disease. I am so thankful to have such an amazing nurse! SVH is so lucky to have her. She would be the perfect recipient of this award.
