As a nurse, Josephine showed real care and maintained compassion, especially we are handling vulnerable patients.
Josephine was my preceptor when I was new in the unit. She taught me a lot in all practice and procedures. She helped me all the way until I was able to be comfortable and competent in the unit. She is the perfect balance of professionalism, intuitive awareness, knowledge, skill, and empathy. As a nurse, she showed real care and maintained compassion, especially we are handling vulnerable patients. She is always patient and gentle. She is excellent enough to lead a unit as a charge nurse and a good role model. She also supported and helped all the staff and doctors in all the chances that she has the opportunity.
She is knowledgeable and skillful and she never gets tired of sharing her expertise. She has good communication skills and critical thinking. She is able to educate the staff and especially the parents. We are so fortunate to have her on our team and the ASH organization. She always practices the ASH core values and, in every action, she made that we are patient-centered. Our patient is very lucky to have such a nurse to take care of them during their stay in the hospital. I am always thankful to her for always being there to support me and all the staff.
