I was assigned to this area of University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center after undergoing colorectal resection. Carlton came in that afternoon and got me set up. What really mattered was that he compassionately engaged with me and gave me insights into what to expect in the coming days. Carlton offered information and a few important suggestions for my contribution to a successful outcome. He did it with what appeared to be a very high level of knowledge, experience, and more importantly humor. Carlton on multiple occasions helped me mentally prepare for treatment.
