She sees through things and does a wonderful job communicating what she is doing. Through her updates, we know that she is constantly advocating for GEC.
I wanted to take a moment and appreciate our manager, Stacey Quinlan. Stacey not only embodies our RISES values, but she is also an exceptional leader! There are numerous things for which I and the rest of the GEC team are grateful. It means a lot to know that we have a leader who believes in us and is willing to go above and beyond to improve the unit culture. One example that really touched me was when I needed to leave work early to present at Sibley for my school project, Stacey offered to come in early to relieve me as charge; not only did she come in early that day, but she also said encouraging words to "boost" me. As I reflect on this day, I thank God for having her as my manager. She goes above and beyond and will do everything she can to help staff.

I recognize that there are certain things for which Stacey has to get approval from Senior Nursing Leadership, but I must say, Stacey is really a "get it done" type of leader. She sees through things and does a wonderful job communicating what she is doing. Through her updates, we know that she is constantly advocating for GEC. There are a few items that she has seen through and closed the loop on. These include: our massage chair (which we love, by the way), the recliners, a new coffee machine, new monitors, ice machines are being replaced and not to mention how hands on Stacey has been throughout the Joint Commission visit preparation. I understand that some of these projects might have already been in the works, but I think Stacey has done an impeccable job in following up.

She cares for the team and our patients. I admire her service leadership style and she makes me want to be an exceptional leader.
